While contemplating this prayer by Lord Brahmā, the sādhaka can imbibe an amrita of intellectual humility conducive to ever-fresh wonder through continual absorption in the unending revelation available through excellent sadhu sanga.
Lord Brahmā said:
jānanta eva jānantu
kiṁ bahūktyā na me prabhu
manaso vapuṣo vāco
vaibhavaṁ tava go-caraḥ
“There are people who say, ‘I know everything about Kṛṣṇa.’ Let them think that way. As far as I am concerned, I do not wish to speak very much about this matter. O my Lord, let me say this much: As far as Your opulences are concerned, they are all beyond the reach of my mind, body and words.” (SB 10.14.38)
Wonder and delight at the prospect of new revelations into the transcendental nature of Kṛṣṇa, His eternal associates and His lila gradually becomes solidified in lobha (greed) for increased hearing, the foundation of raganuga-bhakti.
By hearing attentively from my gurus, let me attain the fine discrimination to cast aside all anarthas (misplaced values) in knowledge and conceptions that do not conform to the foundational tattvas of our sampradaya’s architects.
